Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Water Act 2003)

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006 that an application has been made to Natural Resources Wales by Heidelberg Materials UK Limited for a licence to abstract water from the Clwyd Limestone Group within the boundary formed by straight lines running between the following National Grid References: SH 96657 74961, SH 96657 75124, SH 96849 75304, SH 96870 75508, SH 96960 75587, SH 97266 75398, SH 97099 75138, SH 97019 75081, and SH 96832 75075, for the purpose of transferring it to Nant Ddu at National Grid Reference SH 96882 76208, at the following rates and periods: 216 cubic metres and hour, 5,184 cubic metres a day and 700,000 cubic metres a year, all year.

The water will be abstracted for the purpose of transferring it between the sources of supply referred to above without intervening use.
