We offer two pieces of guidance to help you plan your woodland:

Woodland Creation Planning Guide (GN002)

This guidance will help you to find out if any protected areas on your land will have an impact on your plan to create a new woodland.

Not all areas of land are suitable for woodland creation.

You will only need to use this guidance if your land contains any potential habitats or deep peat.

This guidance will help you identify priority habitats and will show you how to commission an ecological survey.
