Mariners are reminded that it is a requirement for all vessels to show the relevant lights as prescribed by the collision regulations from sunset to sunrise.
All vessels including fishing vessels operating within the harbour area must comply with this requirement.
Operators of small vessels not complying with the collision regulations put their own lives and the lives of other seafarers and passengers at risk.
Any vessel not complying with the collision regulations, if reported to the authorities, may be subject to prosecution.
